3rd graders worked individually or collaboratively on their Medieval Architectual project by creating 3-D castle sculptures! Notice the cubes, cylinders, rectangular prisms and cones! THey also connected this architecture and Flying Buttresses with our highlighted Black History Architect, Paul Revere Williams.
2nd graders learned about the Science of Nephelococcygia which is the science of finding shapes in clouds. Here they beautifully created clouds in watercolor as well as creating the concept of "depth" in their landscape.
Congrats to Demi who actually INVENTED a new word, "COMMUNICOLOR" which describes what we are learning. Colors do commuincate feelings and ideas. Higher Level Thinking Skills in Action! Great Job!
